Give a gift to change a life this Christmas

Here at BBC we are aware of how materially blessed we are compared with most people around the world.

In the whirling frenzy of gift buying, overeating and partying that can be a part of Christmas in a western country, we want to encourage people to deliberately consider those in need around the world.

We are therefore asking everyone in the congregation to “give a gift to change a life this Christmas”.

We have a stall at the back of the auditorium each Sunday, at which people can purchase a gift from the Baptist World Aid ‘Gift Opportunity’ Catalogue or the Open Doors ‘Gifts of Hope’ Catalogue.

For every gift purchased we place a picture on the wall to represent that gift.

Our aim is to cover the wall with at least $5000 worth of goats, chickens, mossie (nets), clean water, first aid kits, seed packs, bibles etc, which will be used to change someone’s life this Christmas.
